Tommy Clarke is a British aerial photographer renowned for his captivating images that transform natural landscapes into abstract art. Born in 1986, Clarke developed an early fascination with shorelines, a passion that later defined his artistic journey.
His career took a significant turn while living in Sydney, Australia, where he embarked on his first aerial shoot over Bondi Beach. This endeavour led to his inaugural series, "Shore," featuring vibrant surfboards scattered across the sands. Since then, Clarke has conducted aerial shoots worldwide, capturing diverse landscapes from the salt lakes of Utah to the coastlines of Australia.
Clarke's work has garnered international acclaim, with his photographs gracing the pages of esteemed publications such as Condé Nast Traveller, The Times and The British Journal of Photography. Clarke has also collaborated with the brands such as Samsung, Estée Lauder, Leica, Marks and Spencer, Antler, Farer Watches, Belstaff, Royal Enfield amongst many others.
His Amazon bestselling book, "Up in the Air," showcases a collection of his aerial photographs, highlighting his ability to find art in natural landscapes.
In addition to photography, Clarke has ventured into filmmaking, with his first short film, Reappear, now streaming on Disney+ as well as gaining over a million view on YouTube. He is soon to start filming his second film on location in Scotland.
